A pangram is a word that uses all seven letters at least once. Every puzzle has at least one. Some have two or three.
They’re always 7 letters or longer. FLOORBOARD is a pangram — it uses F, L, O, R, B, A, and D. NOTCHED is one too.
Why Bother Hunting It?
Two reasons. First, the 7-point bonus. That’s the single biggest score jump you can get from one word.
Second, finding it proves all seven letters connect into something real. It maps the puzzle for you and makes the remaining words easier to spot.

How to Spot One
Think long. Try RE-, UN-, OVER- on the front and -ING, -ED, -ION on the back. Most pangrams are built from these chunks.
